My boys, my world, my two peas in a pod.
This is one of my favourite photographs from our collection.
It melts my heart every time I take a look 🙂

I hope everyone had a lovely time over the Easter Period. Most Importantly I hope you all celebrated the occasion in style and had lots and lots of chocolate. You will be pleased to hear that I was extremely well behaved and had one, yes one Cadbury’s creme egg and donated my big eggs to the mister. ( A little off my waist won’t be noticed on his as much. )
I have been a bit absent of late due to my 2 boys being poorly sick for the past week. All is well in the camp now thankfully, though I must admit I have been left with a few sniffles.Personally I would prefer me to have the sniffle’s rather than the little one as I hate to see him poorly and unwell, when the big man is Ill I’m sure you can imagine the Drama of it all 🙂
Our Weekend was pretty relaxed, we had a few pajama and Movie days and spent some lovely family time together. With a few coughing and sneezing fits thrown in for good measure. I was planning on ordering a new bed and also picking out our new colour schemes for when we finally get around to re-decorating our bedroom, but as most things that are planned in advance this never actually took place. I am sure I will get around to it this week.
I did however find time in my busy mummy schedule to sit down with a wonderful strong cup of coffee ( or three ) and read Cassandra Clare’s latest shadowhunter novel, Clockwork Princess. If you haven’t read any of her books, if you find the time then please do. They are wonderfully written and really capture you into her world of characters and the stories surrounding them.Clockwork Princess had me laughing so hard at times and uncontrollable crying in other parts, and I have never come across an Epilogue so well written as the one in this book.
If you do go to read them, please don’t start off on the above book as this is the Final installment of The Infernal Devices which is a prequel to the much loved The Mortal Instruments. The First installment of The Mortal Instruments is set to hit theaters Worldwide on 23rd August 2013, so be certain that I will be counting down in the very near future 🙂
I now have a massive book hangover, so it’s off to my to-read section to find my next best read 🙂
With this in mind, Easter is only around the corner. I have promised myself that I will be exceptionally good this year, I aim to stay clear of those delicious chocoloately shaped eggs and the even tastier Malteaser Easter Bunnies. If anybody kindly buy’s me any of the above then these will be kindly donated to the Big man.
I love chocolate and really enjoy having it in my life, who doesn’t? However I have not one but two christenings to attend this year, where I will be Godmother at both and I would love to find a pretty summer dress that will fit nice.
For those of you who will be celebrating Easter in style Please have a look at http://www.coffee-and-cakes.co.uk My friend Ashley has some lovely recipe’s on here, which are great for all the family. I have personally tried her baking and mouth wateringly good doesn’t even come close.
Rumour has it there may even be an Easter competition shortly on her Blog. Make sure you check this out over the weekend to be in with a chance to Win.
